A pioneer in sustainable agriculture since the 1960s, Wolfe’s Neck Farm is a Freeport-based nonprofit demonstration farm dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture, farm-based education and outdoor recreation while preserving its 626 acres of open space and historic buildings. As a working farm and oceanfront campground within a unique mix of ecological systems—including forest, marsh, pasture lands, and four miles of coastline—we provide a compelling and inspirational platform with which to engage and inspire visitors, students and program participants of all ages. Open and free to the public year-round, we encourage visitors to traverse our miles of hiking trails, meet animals in our barn, explore our organic gardens, picnic along the shoreline, try our farm products and enjoy the open space. Wolfe’s Neck Farm invites people of all ages to engage with farming, the natural world, and community.
